Georgian copper including 1771 George III half penny, 1st Issue - Tower mint, high grade; 1774 George III half penny; 1719 George I farthing & brass ‘spade’ gaming tokens (pierced) x 3. Together with a collection of commemorative medallions & tokens including 1858 Professor Holloway copper penny token, 1977 Jubilee Spithead Review, 1924 British Empire Exhibition; 1902 x 2 & 1911 Coronation together with Victorian copper pennies, half pennies & farthings (in various grades), Victorian model penny & half penny & 1830 Victoria gaming token.Hammer: £ 35

A collection of Roman denarius, antoninianus etc. purportedly found at Tintagel Castle between 1948-50. Comprising of billon Tetricus AD 270-273 x 3; Aurelian AD 270-275; Constantine I AD 307-337; Constantinopolis AD 330- x 3; Constantius II AD 337-361 x 2. All identified and in various grades commensurate with being recovered from the ground. As a footnote, it is accepted there was Roman activity on the headland during the late 3rd & early 4th centuries AD which corrolates with these finds..Hammer: £ 60
